Getting To Know You

I am shamelessly (well, okay, maybe I do feel a little bad) ripped this off from Not Safe for Children and I'm posting it here just to see if I actually get any responses off of it. So, like, uh, please go ahead and respond. In the comments, yo.

1. Who are you?
2. Are we friends?
3. When and how did we meet?
4. Do you have a crush on me?
5. Would you kiss me?
6. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.
7. Describe me in one word.
8. What was your first impression?
9. Do you still think that way about me now?
10. What reminds you of me?
11. If you could give me anything what would it be?
12. How well do you know me?
13. When's the last time you saw me?
14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
15. Are you going to put this on your blog and see what I say about you?

Thing is, these questions work much better for people who, oh, KNOW EACH OTHER. Like, in real life. But I think it would be fascinating to see how people answer this kind of stuff for bloggers who don't know the questioner from Adam.

3. We didn't.

12. I don't think I do know you, but I like what I know of you.
13. In a previous life?
14. Boy yes, at the beginning, when Blogger wouldn't let me comment...
15. I doubt it, even though it would give me something to post...!

Here are my answers:

1. I am the great and powerful Oz. (but behind the curtain it's me: Modigli)

3. We met one day while you were sitting in the field of poppies, plucking hairs out of your body so you could see the bulbs from which they grew.
4. The only crush I have is on the cowardly lion. But if I were a boy, you might be a close second.
5. I would kiss you if you were a frog and needed to be turned back into a prince.

10. What reminds me of you is: those political yellow bumper stickers that say DENNIS! (I do live in Ohio, land of Dennis Kucinich)
11. If I could give you anything, it would be a brazilian butt wax. But that's only cause you said you have a hairy butt. and BTW, it would be a GIFT CERTIFICATE!
12. I really don't know you very well at all. But I love your blog.
13. I have never seen you. Which really makes you more like the great and powerful Oz, doesn't it?
14. You're easy to talk (write?)to, Dennis. I've never felt unable to tell you something.
15. I will not put this on my blog simply because I've already posted a similar questionaire today! I'd love to see what comments you might have for mine, though.

:) Peace!

Wow. I wasn't expecting actual responses to this post :-P but cool! I think the thing about the people who most often comment on this blog is that they're sarcastic and snarky in a fun way. I like that about y'all.

Anne: Isn't kissing the standard greeting in France? (PS: I am, in fact, looking into visiting Paris in November. I'll keep you posted.)

Will: You are such a tease!

Modig: That post will haunt me for a while, huh? At least, until I get that wax. I'd offer before and after pictures, but... well, no. And thanks for the "gift certificate" clarification.

Peter: No tongue? How dull. A handshake? How dull. :) And #14???

Steve: Thug?!?

Brando: Yeah, bummer that we missed each other. Unless you planned it that way, just to avoid me. Hmmmm.

Matt: You know, when I surf to your blog, I hear a Backstreet Boys song... "It's My Life" or something like that. Glad I'm not the only one.

Jon: I was unfairly suckered in by the delightful taste of lychee martinis which apparently pack a slow punch. That's my defense. :) And I do so love spam....
