Photoblogging sucks

Well, I have nothing against people who write and publish photoblogs. But I just spent the last 45 minutes or so uploading a set of photos onto this blog to share my experiences over my Spain vacation, but the layout would never work properly. I blame this on Blogger's photo uploading function, which doesn't really lend itself well to effective photo publishing if you've also got text in the entry.

So sharing the photos (and blogging about the vacay in general) may have to wait until later... or until I get a Flickr account or something. Right now, I'm dog tired and need to sleep before work tomorrow.

you should totally get a flickr account. I would add you as a contact. Maybe. Just kidding... All I can say, is that you will definitely want to upgrade right away to maintain interest.

Good luck!

Welcome back! I've tried Ofoto www.ofoto.com and think it's pretty decent.

Duane: I just looked at Flickr, and there's a per-day upload limit. Being an idiot, I took my pictures on fairly high resolution, meaning each photo is over 1MB in size, and I don't know how to make it smaller! (I know, I'm stupid that way.)

Steve: I'm going to check out ofoto now. I've also had some people use snapfish which seems to be fine as well. I just usually have an objection to sites that require your visitors to register to see pics, because they then end up spamming your friends.
